We all agree that we have only one Earth and we must take care of it. But as parents we must also teach our little ones to love it because Earth is their home. Earth Day is a special day to share different ideas of how we can show some love to our beautiful planet. At home, we have been making some crafts, and even some Earth Day cookies! Happy Earth Day!
My five year old daughter is starting to learn how to read. We have been focusing on sight words for a while, but we decided it was time to move on to short stories. After browsing through reading workbooks, we found this amazing book from Bob Books series. It guides your little reader through different easy to read stories. You can click here to find it. Can’t wait to get the next level one!
This week we have been into modeling clay. Modeling clay is just amazing. It is very easy to use and mess free. Our favorite is the kit below. It includes so many colors, all the tools you need, and booklet to guide you through different creations.

Our little creations…
Already nineteen days have passed since we started our self-quarantine. These days are consumed with homeschooling and lots of crafts, keeping the little ones entertained and sheltered from the hardships our country is going through. Homeschooling has been an experience to treasure. Teachers and parents are working together to make the best of this time.
